Título:Os jovens por eles mesmos: um estudo acerca do fenômeno juvenil na perspectiva de estudantes do Ensino Médio de colégios e unidades sociais no Brasil / The young people self-explained: a study about the youth phenomenon from the perspective of Brazilian High School students from schools and social units.

Resumo em português: Neste estudo, objetivou-se compreender o ser jovem na contemporaneidade a partir da visão de estudantes do Ensino Médio. Foram utilizados dados de uma pesquisa maior, que contou com dez grupos focais com estudantes brasileiros. Utilizou-se Análise Textual Discursiva para avaliação dos achados. Participaram 80 estudantes oriundos de colégios e unidades sociais de uma rede de ensino privada, habitantes de distintas regiões do país. Os resultados demonstraram que, para a amostra pesquisada, ser jovem era vivenciar pressão por desempenho, por desenvolvimento de um futuro profissional e pela mudança da sociedade. Além disso, envolvia desenvolver autoconhecimento, ser crítico e socialmente responsável, enfrentar riscos e desafios e conquistar autonomia. Os resultados foram discutidos a partir de uma fundamentação gestáltica e fenomenológica. As conclusões apontam para a diversidade e potência das experiências juvenis na contemporaneidade e levantam questionamentos sobre os impactos na clínica psicológica. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: The aim of this study was to understand the contemporary young person from the perspective of High School students. We used data from a larger survey, which had ten focus groups of Brazilian students. We used Textual Discourse Analysis to assess the findings. Eighty High School students from schools and social units of a private educational network in different regions of the country participated in the study. The results showed that, for the sample surveyed, being young was to experience pressure for performance, career development, and social change. It also involved developing self-knowledge, being critical and socially responsible, facing risks and challenges and gaining autonomy. The results were discussed using gestalt and phenomenological bases. The conclusions point to the diversity and potential of youth experiences in the contemporaneity and raise questions about their impact on the psychological clinic. (AU)

Resumo em português: Este artigo apresenta uma proposta epistêmica e metodológica de investigação e práxis etnopsicológicas com pessoas indígenas, apontando para suas contribuições na pesquisa e na assistência psicológica a essas pessoas. Inicialmente, busca contextualizar a etnopsicologia, delimitando seu campo e respectivas possibilidades de investigação e intervenção. Na sequência, explora os conceitos fenomenológicos husserlianos deepoché (o abandono de suposições ou crenças) e intencionalidade da consciência, e sua respectiva retomada no modelo metodológico de Amedeo Giorgi. Em seguida, traz a noção de pessoa dada pela antropologia filosófica de Max Scheler, diferenciando-a de outras noções hegemônicas predominantes no Ocidente e buscando apreciar sua aplicabilidade na pesquisa e no atendimento às pessoas indígenas. Discute, então, o potencial dessas duas abordagens na etnopsicologia, na medida em que ambas assumem que o conhecimento se constitui em relação, tendo como fundamento axiológico o mundo da vida das pessoas, repleto de valores, sentidos e significados existenciais. Resumo em inglês: This article presents an epistemological and methodological proposal for investigation and ethnopsychological praxis involving indigenous people, indicating their contributions to the study and to the psychological support offered to them. Firstly, it seeks to put ethnopsychology into context by defining its field of study and the respective options for research and intervention. It then goes on to explore the Husserlian phenomenological concepts ofepoché (the setting aside of assumptions or beliefs) and intentionality of conscience, and their resurrection in the methodological model of Amedeo Giorgi. Next, the notion of theperson is introduced, as defined by the philosophical anthropology of Max Scheler, differentiating it from other hegemonic notions that were predominant inthe Western world, seeking to appraise its applicability to the study and care of indigenous people. It will then discuss the potential of these two approaches in ethnopsychology, insofar as both assume that knowledge is constituted in relations, having its axiological basis in the world of the lives of people, full with existential values, meaning and significance. Resumo em português: Na Psicologia, a centralidade da escuta se apresenta como uma questão epistemológica e prática, sendo discutida no âmbito da psicologia fenomenológica e, enquanto escuta suspensiva, como dispositivo que dispara e desenvolve a entrevista como sua chave operativa. Trata-se de uma articulação teórica na perspectiva da fenomenologia clássica de Edmund Husserl, que exige considerara esfera transcendental e a antropologia resultante das reduções intersubjetivas realizadas pelo fundador da fenomenologia. Para a Psicologia, explicita a relação inerente entre pessoa e cultura, tema que coloca em questão os objetos e o modo de fazer pesquisa empírico-fenomenológica, bem como consequências para a clínica. Os resultados equivalem a uma sequência de análises fenomenológicas, partindo das análises preliminares da entrevista e da escuta, em seus momentos hiléticos e noéticos. A escuta suspensiva é operada como encontro de horizontes de expectativa, indicando sua complexidade e especificidades de sua execução. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: The centrality of listening to Psychology is presented as an epistemological and practical issue, being discussed within the scope of phenomenological psycho-logy and, as suspensive listening, as an operational device that, like a key, triggers and develops the interview. It is a theoretical articulation from the perspective of classical phenomenology by Edmund Husserl, which demands considering the transcendental sphere and the anthropology resulting from the intersubjective reductions carried out by the founder of phenomenology. For Psychology, it explains the inherent relationship between person and culture, a theme that puts objects in question and the way of doing empirical-phenomenological re-search, as well as consequences for the clinical psychology. The results are equivalent to a sequence of phenomenological analyses, starting with the preliminary analyses of the interview and listening, in its hiletic and noetic moments. Suspensive listening is operated as a meeting of horizons of expectation, indicating its complexity and specificities of its execution. (AU)

Resumo em português: O objetivo deste artigo é propor uma relação teórica entre o conceito da exotopia bakhtinana e a posições de Eu. A Teoria do self dialógico concebe a mente como uma multiplicidade dinâmica de posições de Eu relativamente autônomas fundamentada, especialmente, na filosofia dialógica de Michael Bakhtin e na teoria do self de William James. Cada posição de Eu, na minissociedade da mente, tem a capacidade de “ver além” do que qualquer outra poderia, pois, no tempo-espaço, cada posição de Eu pode ocupar um lugar que é único. A exotopia pressupõe a extralocalização dessas posições de Eu, umas diante das outras, o que estabelece a viabilidade das interações dialógicas. É essa exotopia que conduz à nossa possibilidade de responder a uma outra voz interna ou externa. Essa condição espacial caracteriza toda relação intra ou heterodialógica, assim como a possibilidade de aparecimento de novidade de significados no self. Um caso empírico de um adolescente é apresentado para ilustrar o nascimento de nova posição de Eu no processo de escolarização a partir do aumento da exotopia no self. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: This article aims at proposing a theoretical relation between Bakhtin’s notion of exotopy and I-positions. The Theory of the Dialogical Self conceives the mind as a dynamic multiplicity of relatively autonomous positions of the self. It is rooted in Michael Bakhtin’s dialogical philosophy and William James’s theory of the self. Each position of the self, in the mini-society of the mind, has the property of “seeing beyond” of what any other can do. This is because, in time-space, each position of the self can occupy a place that is absolutely unique. Exotopia pre-supposes the extralocation of these positions of the self, which establishes the viability of dialogical interactions. In this vein, we can promote the construc-tion of meanings. The exotopy leads our ability to respond to another internal or external voice. This spatial condition characterizes every intra or heterodialogical relationship, as well as the possibility of the appearance of novelty of meanings in the self. An empirical case of an adolescent is presented to illustrate the emergence of a new position of the self in the schooling process from the increase in exotopy in the self. (AU)

Resumo em português: O artigo aborda, na perspectiva da história dos saberes psicológicos, as narrativas acerca do emprego dos recursos imagéticos junto as populações nativas elaboradas por autores jesuítas protagonistas da epopeia missionária nas Reduções dos territórios guaraníticos, entres o século XVII e XVIII. Os autores são: Diego de Torres Bollo; Pedro de Oñate; Antônio de Ruiz Montoya; Antônio Sepp. Os documentos são: cartas, uma crônica histórica e um diário. A interpretação é fornecida na perspectiva dos saberes psicológicos disponíveis no universo cultural dos autores. A imagem é tomada como elemento capaz de estimular o dinamismo psíquico em sua complexidade, envolvendo sensibilidade, memória, imaginação, atenção, cognição e vontade. O efeito logrado, segundo os autores, seria a construção de uma relação imediata dos índios com as imagens evocadoras de presenças sagradas símbolos do universo cristão e persuasivas quanto aos conteúdos doutrinários e a mudança de comportamentos e hábitos. Resumo em inglês: The article approaches, from the perspective of the history of psychological knowledge, the narratives about the use of imagetic resources with the native populations elaborated by Jesuit authors, protagonists of the missionary heroicis in the Reductions of the Guaranitic territories, between the 17th and 18th centuries. The authors are: Diego de Torres Bollo; Pedro de Oñate; Antônio de RuizMontoya; Antônio Sepp. The documents are: letters, a historical chronicle and a diary. The interpretation is provided from the perspective of the psychological knowledge available in the authors’ cultural universe. The image is taken as an element capable of stimulating psychic dynamism in its complexity, involving sensitivity, memory, imagination, attention, cognition and will. The effect achieved, according to the authors, would be the construction of an immediate relation of the Indians with the evocative images of sacred presences, symbols of the Christian universe and persuasive as to the doctrinal contents and the change of behaviours and habits. Título:A criança com deficiência: primeiras experiências de escolarização / The child with disabilities: first schooling experiences.

Resumo em português: Este artigo apresenta uma análise das primeiras experiências de escolarização de crianças com deficiência nos séculos XVIII, XIX e início do século XX, por meio dos trabalhos de Jacob Rodrigues Pereira (1715-1780), Jean Marc Gaspard Itard (1774-1838), Edouard Séguin (1812-1880) e Maria Montessori (1870-1952), identificando pressupostos metodológicos que contribuíram para a constituição da área da Educação Especial e da Psicologia. Trata-se de uma pesquisa histórica que considera a produção teórica na área da educação especial e da psicologia, contemplando a leitura e a análise de livros, artigos, teses, dissertações e, principalmente, textos e obras completas de autoria dos educadores pesquisados. As análises apontaram que, ao proporcionarem condições de aprendizagem e desenvolvimento para crianças com deficiência, os trabalhos desses educadores contribuíram para a constituição histórica da educação especial, bem como apresentam as raízes do processo hoje denominado de inclusão social. Resumo em inglês: This article presents an analysis of the first schooling experiences of children with disabilities in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries, through the works of Jacob Rodrigues Pereira (1715-1780), Jean Marc Gaspard Itard (1774-1838),Edouard Séguin (1812-1880) and Maria Montessori (1870-1952), identifying methodological assumptions that contributed to the constitution of the area of Special Education and Psychology. This is a historical research that considers theoretical production in the area of special education and psychology, contemplating the reading and analysis of books, articles, theses, dissertations and, mainly, texts, and complete works authored by the surveyed educators. The analyzes pointed out that, by providing conditions for the learning and the development of children with disabilities, the work of these educators contributed to the historical constitution of special education, as well as presenting the roots of the process today called social inclusion. Resumo em português: A psiquiatria democrática, como ficou conhecida, trabalho expresso na vida e na obra de Franco Basaglia e Franca Ongaro Basaglia, será revisitada neste artigo em seu caráter epistêmico. Defende-se, portanto, neste trabalho, que o moto A Liberdade é Terapêutica tem, além de um sentido terapêutico, também um sentido epistêmico. A fim de se defender essa tese, serão analisadas as críticas de Franco e Franca Basaglia à psiquiatria institucional, sob o contexto revisitado da literatura mais atualizada em Estudos de Ciências. O conceito de duplo, em geral, e o conceito de gênero, em particular, serão as ferramentas conceituais dessa análise. As perspectivas dos Estudos de Ciências, da Epistemologia Feminista e da historiografia mais recente e atualizada das ciências e da psicologia serão utilizadas para analisarmos os trabalhos de Franco e Franca Basaglia sob este novo ponto de vista. Resumo em inglês: The so-called democratic psychiatry, as expressed through the work and lives of Franco Basaglia and Franca Ongaro Basaglia, will be revisited in this paper in its epistemic feature. Therefore, it will be argued in this paper that the motto “Freedom is Therapeutic” has, besides its therapeutic meaning, an epistemic meaning as well. In order to argue for this thesis, the critiques made by Franco and Franca Basaglia to institutional psychiatry will be analyzed under the revisited context of the current, and most updated, literature in Science Studies. The concepts of “double”, generally speaking, and of “gender”, strictly speaking, will be some of the conceptual tools for this analysis. The perspectives from Science Studies, Feminist Epistemology, and the most recent and updated historiography of science and psychology will be made tools to analyze the works by Franco e Franca Basaglia under this new lens. Resumo em português: A pesquisa apresenta a história da construção e consolidação do campo de estudo e atuação da Psicologia Escolar no Piauí. Utilizou-se abordagem qualitativa, historiográfica, com história oral. Foram definidas como participantes as/os pioneiras/os a contribuir para um determinado campo de atuação. Os seis depoentes foram escolhidos por terem: I) atuação na área; II) sido docentes; e/ou III) participado de órgãos/instituições da área. As análises foram construídas a partir de indicadores e núcleos de significados dos registros orais, a partir dos quais foram organizados em cinco eixos temáticos: a) Atuação em psicologia educacional e psicologia escolar; b) Primeiras incursões da Psicologia no campo da Educação do Piauí; c) Estrutura e recursos disponíveis para atuação profissional; d) Transformação no campo e protagonismo dos estagiários de psicologia escolar; e) Movimentos de descentralização da psicologia escolar no estado. Resumo em inglês: The search presents the history of construction and consolidation of the field of study and performance of School Psychology in Piauí. A qualitative, historiographical approach was used, with oral history. Participants were defined from pioneers contributing to a given field of action. The six interviewees were chosen because they had: i) experience in the area; ii) been teachers; and/or iii) participated in bodies/institutions in the area. The analyzes were constructed from indicators and core meanings of oral records, from which they were organized into 5 thematic axes: a) Performance in educational psychology and school psychology; b) First incursions of Psychology in the field of Education in Piauí; c) Structure and resources available for professional performance; d) Transformation in the field and protagonism of school psychology interns; e) Movements for the decentralization of school psychology in the state. Resumo em português: A partir da obra de Charles Taylor, tratamos das repercussões do naturalismo na obra de William James. Primeiro apresentamos a noção tayloriana de naturalismo (ético-moral), ao que ele contrapõe sua teoria hermenêutica. A seguir, tratamos do conceito jamesiano de experiência religiosa e discorremos sobre suas principais características apontadas por Taylor. Em seguida, apresentamos as críticas de Taylor a esse conceito e discutimos em que sentido James teria esposado algumas das teses do naturalismo ético-moral. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: Starting from the work of Charles Taylor, we deal with the repercussions of naturalism in the works of William James. First, we present Taylor’s notion of naturalism (ethical-moral), to which he opposes his hermeneutic theory. Next, we deal with the Jamesian concept of religious experience and discuss its main characteristics pointed out by Taylor. Then, we present Taylor’s criticisms of this concept and discuss in what sense James would have espoused some of the theses of ethical-moral naturalism. (AU)

Resumo em português: O presente artigo, no campo da história da psicologia, analisa a criação do conceito de pedofilia na teoria sexual de Richard von Krafft-Ebing, psiquiatra e figura pioneira da abordagem médico-patológica da sexualidade no século XIX. Apresentado pela primeira vez como uma perversão sexual, em 1896, o termo pedofilia foi adicionado a Psychopathia Sexualis, obra magna do autor, passando por várias reformulações ao longo dos anos. O presente estudo irá retomar a história do conceito para analisar a criação dele, analisar suas reformulações teóricas mais relevantes ao longo das diversas edições dos textos do autor e abordar as primeiras reações dos contemporâneos do autor em relação à criação do termo. Por fim, nas conclusões, o estudo discute de que maneira as bases teóricas e metodológicas usadas por Krafft-Ebing para a criação do conceito continuam influenciando na abordagem dos estudos em teoria da sexualidade nos séculos seguintes. Resumo em inglês: This paper, in the field of the history of psychology, analyzes the creation of the concept of pedophilia in Richard von Krafft-Ebing’s sexual theory. Krafft-Ebing was a psychiatrist and pioneer figure of the medical-pathological approach to sexuality in the 19th century. First presented as a sexual perversion in 1896, the term pedophilia was added to Psychopathia Sexualis, the author’s magnum opus, undergoing several reformulations over the years. This study will resume the concept to analyze its creation, analyze its most relevant theoretical reformulations throughout the various editions of the author’s texts and address the first reactions of the author’s contemporaries in relation to the creation of the term. Finally, in the conclusions, the study discusses how the theoretical and methodological bases used by Krafft-Ebing to create the concept still influence the approach to studies in the theory of sexuality in the following centuries. Resumo em português: Quando um novo fato científico aparece nas discussões públicas e nas controvérsias políticas, as pessoas são socialmente convocadas a interpretar uma realidade em constante mutação. Este artigo analisou as representações sociais que circularam na Folha de São Paulo sobre o embrião in vitro até o ano de 1978, quando nasceu o primeiro “bebê de proveta”. Foram encontradas 67 reportagens publicadas entre janeiro de 1961 e dezembro de 1978, que foram analisadas com ajuda do software Alceste. Os resultados mostram cinco classes de palavras organizadas em dois eixos de sentidos: Desenvolvimento e alcances da manipulação de materiais germinativos e Impactos da fertilização in vitro na família. No contexto emergente das novas tecnologias reprodutivas, o embrião in vitro suscitou questões axiológicas ligadas à filiação, ao parentesco e ao humano na esfera pública brasileira. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: When a new scientific fact appears in public discussions and political controversies, people are socially called upon to interpret a constantly changing reality. This paper analyzed the social representations that circulated in Folha de São Paulo about the in vitro embryo until 1978, when the first “test tube baby” was born. We found 67 reports published between January 1961 and December1978 that were analyzed with the help of Alceste software. The results show five classes of words organized in two axes of meanings: Development and scope of manipulation of germinal materials and Impacts of in vitro fertilization on the family. In the emerging context of new reproductive technologies, thein vitro embryo raised axiological questions related to filiation, kinship and the human in the Brazilian public sphere. (AU)

Resumo em português: Este artigo tem por objetivo caracterizar a produção acadêmica publicada na revista Dimensão ao longo da década de 1970, no Centro Pedagógico de Corumbá. Pioneira na produção do conhecimento na região, tal caracterização poderá contribuir com a memória do ensino superior no oeste brasileiro. Utilizando o procedimento histórico genealógico de análise, percorremos a leitura dos textos que compõem cada número identificando os seguintes pontos de análise: 1) Contribuição e envolvimento com a comunidade; 2) Perspectiva de avaliação do trabalho realizado no Centro Pedagógico de Corumbá. Inscreve-se no primeiro ponto a presença da Clínica-Escola de Psicologia e sua atuação junto à comunidade. Como resultado, notamos a pujança das publicações com o aumento e diversidade de temas ao longo dos anos. Por fim, discutimos que a federalização é vista como razão determinante do encerramento das atividades de todas as revistas dos Centros integrados, inclusive a revista Dimensão, em 1977. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: This article aims to characterize the academic production published in the journal Dimensão throughout the 1970s, at the Pedagogical Center of Corumbá. A pioneer in the production of knowledge in the region, such a characterization may contribute to the memory of higher education in western Brazil. Using the historical genealogical analysis procedure, we read the texts that compose each issue, identifying the following points of analysis: 1) Contribution and involvement with the community; 2) Perspective of evaluation of the work carried out in the Pedagogical Center of Corumbá. The first point includes the presence of the Clinic-School of Psychology and its work with the community. As a result, we note the strength of publications with the increase and diversity of themes over the years. Finally, we discuss that federalization is seen as a determining reason for the closure of the activities of all the journals of the Pedagogical Centers, including the journal Dimensão, in 1977. (AU)

Título:Estudo sobre a relação entre antropologia e ética no pensamento personalista de Karol Wojtyla.

Resumo em português: Este artigo tem como objetivo estudar a relação entre a antropologia e a ética no pensamento de Karol Wojtyla. A antropologia personalista de K. Wojtyla evidencia a relação ontológica entre o momento do ser e do agir, que, por sua vez,corresponde ao significado moral da relação entre a pessoa e a ação. Partindo da experiência humana, conforme indicação husserliana, será o estudo do ato a revelar a pessoa e o significado moral do agir humano. O caráter qualita-tivo desta pesquisa bibliográfica, baseado em obras e artigos publicados por K. Wojtyla e nos escritos de alguns de seus principais comentadores, permitirá, à luz das contribuições da fenomenologia e da tradição filosófica, contribuir também para o hodierno debate antropológico, tão necessário para fundamentar os estudos das ciências humanas e, ainda, para a superação da atual crise do homem, normalmente marcada por uma visão reducionista ou utilitarista sobre a pessoa humana, como será demonstrado. Resumo em português: This paper aims to study the relationship between anthropology and ethics in the thought of Karol Wojtyla. K. Wojtyla’s personalist anthropology highlights the ontological relationship between the moment of being and acting, which, in turn, corresponds to the moral meaning of the relationship between the person and the action. Starting from human experience, as indicated by Husserlian, it will be the study of the act that reveals the person and the moral meaning of human action. The qualitative nature of this bibliographical research, based on works and articles published by K. Wojtyla, and on the writings of some of his main commentators, will allow, in light of the contributions of phenomenology and the philosophical tradition, to also contribute to the contemporary anthropological debate, so necessary to support the studies of the human sciences, as well to overcome the current human crisis, usually marked by a reductionist or utilitarian view of the human person, as will be demonstrated. Resumo em português: O estudo aponta e analisa as inovações clínicas e científicas de Carl Rogers introduzidas à psicoterapia. O foco está no papel da intersubjetividade, aqui entendida como perspectiva de segunda pessoa, mas sem desconsiderar as contribuições advindas das perspectivas de terceira (evidência experimental) e de primeira pessoa (vivência experiencial). O estudo argumenta que a relevância dada a intersubjetividade, a não-diretividade e a abertura à experiência testifica a confluência entre Rogers e o movimento fenomenológico. Tal confluência é realçada pela atenção ao exame dos fatos e fenômenos em múltiplas perspectivas, orientadas pela ética fenomenológica. Neste sentido, o grande equívoco das comparações entre a teoria de Rogers e a fenomenologia está em tomar como ponto de partida uma dada definição de fenomenologia, e não a vivência e a descrição de eventos fenomenais. Por fim, mostra-se como os estudos científicos de Rogers encontram ressonâncias em pesquisas fenomenológicas contemporâneas aplicadas à psicologia. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: The study points out and analyzes the clinical and scientific innovations that Carl Rogers introduced to psychotherapy. The focus is on the role of intersubjectivity, here understood as a second-person perspective, but without disregarding the perspectives from third-person (experimental evidence) and first-person (experiential experience). The study argues that the relevance given to intersubjectivity, non-directivity, and openness to experience testifies to the confluence between Rogers and the phenomenological movement. Such confluence is enhanced by examining facts and phenomena from multiple perspectives, guided by phenomenological ethics. In this sense, the mistake in the comparisons between Rogers’ theory and phenomenology lies in taking as a starting point given definition of phenomenology, and not the experience and description of phenomenal events. Finally, it shows how Rogers’ scientific studies find resonances in contemporary phenomenological research applied to psychology. (AU)

Resumo em português: Desde o século XIII, a obra de Tomás de Aquino tem suscitado muitos debates entre filósofos e teólogos. São poucos os psicólogos, contudo, que veem aí alguma relevância para a psicologia contemporânea, embora o pensamento do Aquinate contenha profundas reflexões sobre aspectos da natureza humana que ainda desafiam nossa compreensão. Partindo do pressuposto de que o pensamento medieval pode lançar luz sobre alguns debates psicológicos contemporâneos, o objetivo do presente artigo é duplo: primeiro, queremos mostrar que há uma psicologia genuína em Tomás de Aquino, entendida como scientia de anima; segundo, vamos ilustrar nossa tese por meio da análise de um de seus conceitos centrais, a saber, a vontade. Nossa análise ficará restrita ao âmbito da Suma de Teologia, embora apareçam também algumas menções a outros escritos em que o tópico aparece. Ao final, vamos discutir as implicações desse conceito para a psicologia de Aquino, algumas limitações da presente investigação e possíveis caminhos futuros. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: From the XIII century onward, Aquinas’s work has been much debated among philosophers and theologians. Not many psychologists, however, see in his work any relevance for contemporary psychology, although Aquinas’s system contains profound reflections on some aspects of human nature that still defy our understanding. Assuming that medieval thought can shed some light on contemporary psychological debates, the goal of this paper is twofold: first, wewant to show that there is a genuine psychology in Aquinas’s work, understood as scientia de anima; second, we will illustrate our thesis by analyzing one of its central concepts, namely, the will. Our analysis will focus on the Summa Theologica, although Aquinas’s other writings will also be mentioned. In the end, we will discuss the implications of this concept for Aquina’s psychology, some limits of our present investigation, and potential paths for future research. (AU)

Título:Contribuições de Georges Devereaux à metodologia de pesquisa em ciências humanas.

Resumo em português: O objetivo deste artigo é expor uma síntese das principais contribuições de Georges Devereux para o campo da metodologia de pesquisa em ciências humanas: a epistemologia complementarista e a análise da contratransferência do pesquisador. O complementarismo, em Devereux, fundamenta-se na ideia de que a compreensão dos fenômenos humanos necessita de pelo menos uma dupla análise, nunca simultânea: do exterior (da cultura), pela antropologia, e do interior (psiquismo), pela psicanálise. Essa proposta respeita a especificidade de cada disciplina e também pode articular outras disciplinas e saberes na compreensão dos fenômenos humanos. A análise da contratransferência, por sua vez, é entendida como o caminho para a obtenção da objetividade na pesquisa e principal fonte de dados na pesquisa em ciências humanas, embora geralmente negligenciada. Como Devereux é um autor ainda pouco conhecido no Brasil, acreditamos que suas contribuições no campo da metodologia merecem ser estudadas e divulgadas. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: This article aims to present a synthesis of Georges Devereux’s main contributions to research methodology in the human sciences: complementarist epistemology and the analysis of the researcher’s countertransference. Complementarism in Devereux is based on the idea that understanding human phenomena requires at least a double analysis, never simultaneous: from the outside (culture) by anthropology and from the inside (psychism) by psychoanalysis. This proposal respects the specificity of each discipline and may also articulate other disciplines and knowledges in understanding human phenomena. Countertransference analysis, in turn, is understood as the way to obtain objectivity in re-search and the primary source of data in research in the humanities, although generally neglected. As Devereux is still an author little known in Brazil, we believe his contributions in the field of methodology deserve to be studied and publicized. (AU)

Resumo em português: O estudo parte das pesquisas atuais sobre a etiologia do crime nos campos psi e dos diferentes instrumentos utilizados para esse fim. Argumenta-se que essas pesquisas apresentam ressonâncias da lógica determinista da Escola Positivista de Criminologia e da racionalidade eugenista da primeira metade do século XX.A narrativa histórica aqui proposta busca contribuir para as reflexões sobre a reificação do crime e uso dos dispositivos de avaliação do corpo e do psiquismo. O estudo pesquisou os discursos sobre criminalidade e anormalidade no Boletim de Eugenia (1929-1932), explorando a hipótese da reatualização do pensamento eugenista nas atuais investidas dos supostos saberes criminológicos. Conclui-se que as tentativas de captura da psicologia, enquanto dispositivo de poder, explicitam as vontades de normatização incorporadas na lógica preditiva do crime. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: The study discusses current research on the etiology of crime in psychiatry and psychology and the different instruments used for this purpose. It is argued that these areas of research present resonances of the deterministic logic of the Positivist School of Criminology and of the eugenicist rationality of the first halfof the 20th century. The historical narrative proposed here seeks to contribute to a reflection on the reification of crime and the use of devices for evaluating the body and the psyche. The study investigated the discourses on criminality andabnormality in the Boletim de Eugenia (1929-1932), exploring the hypothesis of the reupdating of eugenicist thinking in the current on slaught of supposed criminological knowledge. The study concludes that the attempts to capture psychology, as a device of power, make explicit the desire for normalization incorporated in the predictive logic of crime. (AU)

Resumo em português: Este artigo objetivou analisar as articulações teóricas entre memória histórica e representações sociais. Tomando a perspectiva sociocultural da memória, três aspectos foram problematizados: quais temáticas em memória histórica poderiam ser objetos de representações sociais; o papel da memória histórica nos processos de ancoragem e objetivação; e a relação entre disputas memoriais e representações sociais. A partir da abordagem sociogenética das representações sociais, apontou-se que temáticas em memória histórica que tangem às zonas de tensão podem ser articuladoras entre os campos memoriais e representacionais. Utilizando o Devoir de Memoíre na França, os processos de ancoragem e objetivação podem ser analisados a partir de discussões voltadas à legitimação de narrativas e embates acerca da nomeação de eventos históricos. As disputas memoriais revelam dinâmicas representacionais em relação ao passado social. Por fim, a memória histórica e as representações sociais vinculam-se a diferenças grupais, bem como a conflitos simbólicos. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: This paper aimed to analyze the theoretical articulations between historical memory and social representations. Based on the sociocultural perspective of memory, three aspects were discussed: which themes in historical memory could be objects of social representations; the role of historical memory in anchoring and objectification processes, and the relation between memorial disputes and social representations. From the sociogenetic approach to social representations, it was pointed out that themes in historical memory that relate to tension zones can be articulators between the memorial and representational fields. Using the “Devoir de Memoíre” in France, the anchoring and objectification processes can be analyzed from discussions aimed at legitimizing narratives and disputes regarding the naming of historical events. The memorial disputes re-veal representational dynamics in relation to the social past. Finally, historical memory and social representations are linked to group differences, as well as symbolic conflicts. (AU)

Resumo em português: Este estudo bibliográfico constitui-se de três seções. Na primeira, destacam-se duas narrativas autobiográficas do psicanalista Wilhelm Reich: “Paixão de juventude” e “A função do orgasmo”. Na segunda, analisam-se os tópicos convergentes entre Reich e Freud, que são os construtos da primeira fase psicanalítica (1894-1920), e na terceira, discutem-se os tópicos divergentes entre esses autores, que são os construtos da segunda fase psicanalítica (1920-1939). Portanto, o objetivo é ressaltar as aproximações e rupturas de Reich com a psicanálise clássica. Os resultados apontam que as experiências sexuais infanto-juvenis de Reich influenciaram em seus interesses de estudo, enquanto jovem estudante de medicina, levando-o a aproximar-se e, ao mesmo tempo, a afastar-se da psicanálise. Destaca-se que, da análise comparativa dessas duas obras reichianas, pode-se concluir que, na primeira, ele delineia os construtos básicos que são detalhados na segunda. Nessa, ele explicita as divergências teóricas entre ele e Freud. Principalmente, a crítica reichiana contumaz ao construto freudiano da pulsão de morte que o levou a elaborar a teoria do orgasmo e que o afastou, definitivamente, da psicanálise. Mostra-se que entre os 1920-1934, quando ele esteve ligado à IPA e com o consentimento de Freud, Reich desenvolveu as Teorias da Economia sexual, do Orgasmo e da Análise do Caráter como releitura crítica da pulsão de morte que não aceitava
Resumo em português: This bibliographic study consists of three sections. In the first one, two autobiographical narratives by the psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich stand out: “Passion of youth” and “The function of orgasm”. In the second, the converging topics between Reich and Freud are analyzed, which are the constructs of the first psychoanalytic phase (1894-1920), and in the third, the divergent topics between these authors are discussed, which are the constructs of the second psycho-analytic phase (1920-1939). Therefore, the objective is to highlight Reich’s approximations and ruptures with classical psychoanalysis. The results indicate that Reich’s child and adolescent sexual experiences influenced his study interests as a young medical student, leading him to approach and, at the sametime, to move away from psychoanalysis. It is noteworthy that, from the comparative analysis of the two Reichian works, it can be concluded that, in the first, he outlines the basic constructs that are detailed in the second. In this, he ex-plains the theoretical differences between him and Freud. Mainly, the persistent Reichian critique of the Freudian construct of the death drive that led him to elaborate the orgasm theory that definitively distanced him from psychoanalysis. It is shown that between 1920-1934, when he was linked to the IPA and with Freud’s consent, Reich developed the Theories of Sexual Economy, Orgasm and Character Analysis as a critical reinterpretation of the death drive that he did not accept

Resumo em português: O presente artigo objetiva analisar os fenômenos de massa em seus aspectos psicológicos a partir das contribuições de E. Stein, considerando o impacto e potenciais consequências destrutivas desses fenômenos como apontados por H. Arendt ao estudar governos totalitários. Após contextualizar o debate acercado tema, ocorrido nas últimas décadas do século XIX e as primeiras do século XX, o trabalho pretende reconstruir os passos da análise fenomenológica conduzida por Stein no ensaio sobre o contágio psíquico que é parte da obra Contribuições para uma fundamentação filosófica da Psicologia e das Ciências do Espirito, publicada em 1922. Nessa análise, a autora descreve em detalhe o dinamismo através do qual o fenômeno do contágio psíquico se inicia e se alastra na vivência pessoal e de grupo. O estudo conduzido comprova a originalidade, atualidade e utilidade acerca dessa contribuição da filósofa alemã, inclusive para a psicologia e psiquiatria contemporâneas
Resumo em inglês: This paper aims to analyze mass phenomena in their psychological aspects through the contributions of E. Stein, considering the impact and potential destructive consequences of such phenomena pointed out by H. Arendt when studying totalitarian governments. After contextualizing the debate on the subject, which took place in the last decades of the 19th century and the first decades of the20th century, this work intends to reconstruct the steps of the phenomenological analysis conducted by Stein in the essay on psychic contagion that is part ofthe work Contributions to a philosophical foundation of Psychology and Sciences of the Spirit, published in 1922. In this analysis, the author describes in detail the dynamism through which the phenomenon of psychic contagion begins and spreads in personal and group experiences. The study conducted proves the originality, relevance and use fulness of this contribution of the German philosopher, regarding the contemporary psychology and psychiatry

Resumo em português: O artigo aborda as pesquisas de René Spitz sobre o desenvolvimento das psicopatologias precoces infantis, enfatizando seus aspectos metodológicos e a maneira como o autor procura articular a investigação experimental e a perspectiva clínica e teórica da psicanálise. Os principais métodos e os procedimentos complementares de suas pesquisas empíricas são apresentados e discutidos, a partir da análise das publicações originais do autor. Críticas e debates que cercaram seus trabalhos à época são também revisitados e analisados. Em conclusão, argumenta-se que os trabalhos de Spitz, apesar de suas limitações, constituem um exemplo histórico significativo de como a psicanálise pode se beneficiar de uma perspectiva mais plural e interdisciplinar e suas pesquisas clínicas e empíricas. Resumo em inglês: This paper addresses René Spitz’s research on child development and early psychopathological disorders, emphasizing its methodological aspects and how the author seeks to articulate experimental research and the psychoanalytic clinical and theoretical perspective. The main methods and complementary procedures of his empirical research are presented and discussed, based on the analysis of the author’s original publications. Criticism and debates that surrounded his works at the time are also revisited and analyzed. In conclusion, it is argued that Spitz’s works, despite their limitations, constitute a significant historical example of how psychoanalysis can benefit from a more plural and interdisciplinary perspective in its clinical and empirical research. Resumo em português: A presente contribuição busca mostrar a formação –acadêmica e humana –recebida por de Edith Stein nos anos de seus estudos universitários apontando sua importância para o que viria a desenvolver depois em obra e na própria existência da filósofa. Inicialmente, se esclarece o que Stein entende por formação. Em seguida, através da escuta empática do que ela mesma relata em escritos autobiográficos e cartas a amigos e colegas, mostra-se o vínculo entre as experiências vividas nas duas cidades onde estudou e os temas enfrentados nas obras redigidas nos anos imediatamente sucessivos à aprovação de sua tese, que voltariam também nas obras mais maduras em várias passagens. Resumo em inglês: The present contribution is intended to demonstrate the importance of Edith Stein’s education, both humanistic and academic, received during her years of university study, for the development of her work and her very existence as a philosopher. Through the empathic listening of what she herself recounts in autobiographical notes and written letters to friends and colleagues, I seek to show the connection between the lived experiences in the two cities where she advances her academic studies and the themes dealt within written papers in the years immediately following her academic studies, which, on several occasions, will return even in her more mature production. All of this after having first clarified what Stein herself understood by education. (AU)

Resumo em português: O trabalho propõe uma reflexão sobre o lugar da alteridade e da dimensão do laço social articulados à expressão da subjetividade. Para tanto, partimos da análise da amizade entre Freud e o psicanalista e pastor Pfister que, ao longo de décadas, sustentaram uma relação de amizade significativa, sem renunciarem aos fundamentos e pressupostos que eram caros a cada um, preservando, dessa forma, suas diferenças nessa relação, tal como acompanharemos em alguns trechos das correspondências trocadas entre os autores. A alteridade é representada também pelo debate entre ciência e religião no diálogo entre os teóricos. Utilizamos alguns fundamentos da psicanálise freudiana para construir nossa reflexão, a saber, a onipotência, o lugar da alteridade, o laço social, a idealização, a ilusão e a direção do tratamento analítico. A abertura à alteridade, fundamento da clínica psicanalítica, parece fundamental para uma experiência subjetiva significativa que, nesse sentido, mantém estreita conexão com âmbito da coletividade. Resumo em inglês: This paper proposes a reflection on the place of alterity and the dimension of the social bond articulated with the expression of subjectivity. To do so, the starting point was the analysis of the friendship between Freud and the psychoanalyst and pastor Pfister, who, for decades, maintained a meaningful relationship, without renouncing the fundamentals and assumptions that were dear to each one, thus preserving their differences. In this relationship, as we will see in some excerpts of the correspondence exchanged between the authors, alterity is also represented by the debate between science and religion. Freudian psychoanalysis fundamentals were used to build this reflection, namely, omnipotence, the place of alterity, the social bond, the idealization, the illusion, and the direction of the analytical treatment. Openness to alterity, the foundation of psychoanalytic clinic, seems fundamental to a significant subjective experience that, in this sense, maintains a close connection with the scope of the collectivity. Resumo em espanhol: La sexualidad como tema de estudio se observa a lo largo del siglo XX en distintos tipos de publicaciones tanto expertas como populares. Partiendo de la relevancia histórica del tema el presente trabajo propone aportar al estudio de la sexualidad entre los años 1955 y 1970 tomando como fuente la Revista Ilustrada Científico-Sexológica Luz. Dicha revista de origen estadounidense tuvo una masiva difusión en el cono Sur de América. Metodológicamente se partió de la revisión sistemática y análisis crítico de dicha publicación tomando aportes de la teoría de la recepcióny el giro materialde la historia intelectual. A partir del análisis realizado se mostrará el papel que ejerció en la consolidación del discurso experto sobre temas sexuales y su relación con el público más amplio como así también el lugar de los valores de la época en la regulación de las prácticas sexuales. Resumo em inglês: Sexuality as a subject of study is observed throughout the 20th century in different types of publications, both expert and popular. Starting from the historical relevance of the subject, this paper proposes to contribute to the study of sexuality between 1955 and 1970 in Argentina, taking the Revista Ilustrada Científico-Sexológica Luzas the corpus. This journal of American origin had a massive diffusion in the country. Methodologically, it was based on the systematic review and critical analysis of such publication, taking contributions from the theory of reception and the material turn of intellectual history. Based on the analysis carried out, the role it played in the consolidation of expert discourse on sexual issues and its relationship with the broader public will be shown, as well as the place of the values of the era in the regulation of sexual practices. Resumo em português: O presente trabalho explora diferentes retratos de Febrônio Índio do Brasil, primeiro réu no Brasil a ser avaliado como inimputável judicialmente, visto ser considerado portador de uma psychopatia constitucional. Para tal, serão discutidas as diferentes historiografias dos dispositivos psiquiátricos, assim como a possibilidade de uma história-construção, na reunião de elementos heterogêneos na composição de um personagem. Desta forma, o artigo explora diferentes documentos redigidos a respeito de Febrônio; tais como seu laudo psiquiátrico, seu processo criminal, seu evangelho As Revelações do Príncipe de Fogo e o escrito do poeta suíço Blaise Cendrars sobre Febrônio. O intuito dessa análise documental é compreender como crime, loucura, raça e sexualidade são articulados na construção de versões sobre o personagem, que variam do louco monstruoso ao profeta. Ao final do texto, esboçamos a noção de dramaturgia criminal enquanto um constructo teórico que aproxima essas narrativas sobre Febrônio do desenvolvimento de personagens no drama. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: This paper explores different portraits of Febrônio Indio do Brasil, the first defendant in Brazil to be evaluated as judicially unimputable, since he was considered to have a constitutional psychopathy. To this end, the different historiographies of psychiatric devices will be discussed, as well as the possibility of a history-construction, in the gathering of heterogeneous elements in the composition of a character. In this way, the article explores different documents written about Febrônio; such as his psychiatric report, his criminal process, his gospel The Revelations of the Prince of Fire, and the writing of the Swiss poet Blaise Cendrars about Febrônio. The purpose of this documentary analysis is to understand how crime, madness, race, and sexuality are articulated in the construction of versions about Febrônio as a character that vary from the monstrous madman to the prophet. At the end of the text, we outline the notion of criminal dramaturgy. (AU)

Resumo em português: O objetivo do artigo é compreender a noção de linguagem e expressão em Merleau-Ponty, de modo a evidenciar como se dá a gênese de sentido linguístico. Primeiro, optamos em expor o estado da questão na Fenomenologia da Percepção. Introduzimos o corpo como potência expressiva e significativa de mundo, e a linguagem como expressão atrelada ao caráter gestual da palavra. Em seguida, apresentamos a expressão da linguagem após a apropriação feita por Merleau-Ponty da linguística de Saussure. Por fim, enfocamos a articulação entre o sentido gestual da palavra e o caráter sistemático da língua: o sujeito falante, enquanto potência de atualização e criação de sentido, assume a língua à qual pertence, ao mesmo tempo em que a língua forma sua possibilidade de expressão. Resumo em inglês: This paper aims to understand the notion of language and expression in Merleau-Ponty, in order to show how the genesis of linguistic meaning occurs. First, we chose to showcase the state of this question in Phenomenology of Perception. We introduce the body as an expressive and significant power of world, and the language as an expression linked to the gestural character of the word. Then, we present the language expression after Merleau-Ponty's appropriation of Saussure's linguistics. Finally, we focus on the articulation between the gestural sense of the word and the systematic character of the language: the speaking subject, as a power of updating and creating meaning, assumes the language to which it belongs, at the same time that the language forms its possibility of expression. Resumo em português: O objetivo da pesquisa é evidenciar, nos escritos e na correspondência epistolar de Diego de Torres Bollo (1551-1638), missionário jesuíta espanhol no Paraguai nas primeiras décadas do século XVII, a elaboração da experiência acerca dos primeiros anos de vida missionária junto às populações indígenas, nos espaços territoriais chamados de Reduções. O método é abordar a tópica da experiência relatada nos documentos pelo autor e entendida conforme as categorias interpretativas próprias da cultura jesuítica da época. No âmbito da experiência narrada, serão evidenciados os saberes psicológicos elaborados na tradição cultural da Companhia de Jesus, especialmente os saberes referentes aos afetos. (AU)
Resumo em inglês: The aim of this paper is to evidence, in the writings and epistolary correspondence of Diego de Torres Bollo (1551-1638), Spanish Jesuit missionary in Paraguay in the first decades of the 17th century, the elaboration of the experience of the first years of missionary life with the indigenous populations, in the territorial spaces called Reductions. The method is to approach the topic of the experience reported in the documents by the author and understood according to the interpretative categories of the Jesuit culture of the time. In the scope of the narrated experience, the psychological knowledge elaborated in the cultural tradition of the Society of Jesus will be evidenced, especially the knowledge related to affections. Resumo em português: Em 2021 a Revista Memorandum alcançou o marco de 20 anos de publicação ininterrupta, difundindo no país pesquisas do campo da fenomenologia, memória, história e religião. No mesmo ano, celebramos também 20 anos do início da parceria da filósofa italiana Angela Ales Bello com pesquisadores brasileiros. Como um brinde à dupla comemoração, discutimos neste texto a originalidade da fenomenologia clássica e suas contribuições para as ciências em geral e, em particular, para a psicologia, psicopatologia e estudo das religiões. Também é realizado um resgate de memórias sobre o início do intercâmbio com pesquisadores brasileiros que contribuiu a um só tempo para o desenvolvimento da psicologia fenomenológica no país e para a consolidação da revista Memorandum como periódico de referência nesta área. Resumo em inglês: In 2021, the journal Memorandum reached the milestone of 20 years of uninterrupted publication, disseminating research in the field of phenomenology, memory, history and religion in the country. In the same year, we also celebrated 20 years since the beginning of the partnership between Italian philosopher Angela Ales Bello and Brazilian researchers. As a toast to the double celebration, in this text we discuss the originality of classical phenomenology and its contributions to the sciences in general and, in particular, to psychology, psychopathology and the study of religions. A rescue of memories about the beginning of the exchange with Brazilian researchers is also carried out, which contributed at the same time to the development of phenomenological psychology in the country and to the consolidation of Memorandum as a reference journal in this area. Resumo em espanhol: Se presentan una serie de intervenciones públicas realizadas por un grupo de profesionales entre 1998 y 2003 en la sección Psicología del periódico argentino Página 12. Estos escritos muestran algunospasajes de la intervención psicológica en relación a las secuelas de la última dictadura en Argentina, dentro de la cotidianeidad de la pos dictadura. El análisis de las fuentes permitió reconocer los temas abordados, aspectos éticos y políticos de la intervención psicológica con alcances en el ámbito público, y posicionamientos ante la circulación de sentidos atribuidos a una naturalización de la violencia del genocidio que se permeaba en la cotidianeidad. El trabajo recupera estos aportes, realizados a los debates públicos que estaban teniendo lugar en el espacio social argentino, en aquel momento, donde se libraba una pugna entre los intentos de impunidad y los reclamos de memoria, verdad y justicia. Resumo em inglês: A series of public interventions made by a group of professionals between 1998 and 2003 in the psychology section of the Argentinean newspaper Página 12 are presented. These writings show some aspects of psychological intervention in relation to the aftermath of the last dictatorship in Argentina, within the everyday life of the post-dictatorship. The analysis of the sources allowed to recognize the issues addressed, ethical and political aspects of psychological intervention with scope in the public sphere, and standpoints regarding the circulation of meanings attributed to a naturalization of the genocide violence that permeated everyday life. The paper recovers these contributions, made to the public debates that were taking place in the Argentinean social space at that time when a struggle was taking place between the attempts of impunity and the claims of memory, truth and justice. Resumo em português: Neste artigo, os autores investigam uma série de tensões notáveis pela presença do termo “primitivo” como um enunciado na origem da psicologia das artes no Brasil. A exploração dos significados relacionados a esse termo e palavras correlatas (tal como “primitivismo”) permite-nos mapear as marcas da dominação colonial, a crítica e possibilidades de superação. Nossa base histórica foram alguns textos escritos por importantes autores, os quais tornaram-se referências fundamentais para o campo acadêmico da psicologia das artes no Brasil. O estudo da conceituação então elaborada possibilita os pesquisadores compreenderem o primitivismo como um problema acadêmico e como uma sombra a cobrir as origens tanto da psicologia da arte quanto da psicologia social. A interpretação daqueles escritos permite identificar enunciados que articulam a abordagem psicológica de objetos estéticos produzidos pelas classes populares e a invenção de algumas categorias discursivas coerentes. Como resultado, esperamos evidenciar a própria genealogia da psicologia da arte brasileira, a qual foi construída a partir de fundamentos ambíguos, estes articulados à dominação colonial e seus reflexos históricos e políticos no discurso científico. Concluímos pontuando a relevância do mapeamento e reflexão acerca da presença de tais ambiguidades na abordagem científica da produção estética de diferentes grupos sociais subalternos, historicamente invisíveis e representados em termos de minorias
Resumo em inglês: In this paper, we investigate a series of tensions noted by the presence of the term “primitive” as an enunciation in the origins of the psychology of the arts in Brazil. The exploration of meanings related to this term and correlated words (such as “primitivism”) allows us to map the marks of colonial domination, criticism and its overcoming possibilities. Our historical basis was some of the most important authors, whose texts became fundamental references for the academic field of the psychology of the arts in Brazil. The study of their conceptualization enables us to figure out the primitivism as an academic problem and as a shadow covering the origins of both the psychology of the arts and social psychology in Brazil. The interpretation of those writings allows us to identify statements that articulate the psychological approach to aesthetic objects produced by the popular classes and the invention of some coherent discursive categories. As a result, we hope to make evident the very genealogy of Brazilian art psychology, which was built through ambiguous foundations, articulated to colonial domination and its historical and political reflexes in scientific discourse. We conclude by pointing out the relevance of mapping and reflection on the presence of such ambiguities in the scientific approach to the aesthetic production of different subaltern social groups, historically invisible and represented in terms of minorities

Resumo em português: O objetivo deste estudo foi refletir as possíveis interlocuções entre autoeficácia, mindfulness e autocompaixão em Psicologia Positivana educação superior. Neste trabalho, a discussão se deu da seguinte forma: (i) autoeficácia de Albert Bandura à Psicologia Positiva; (ii) mindfulness em Psicologia Positiva: da tradição à ciência do bem-estar; (iii) autocompaixão em Psicologia Positiva: sob a ótica de Kristin Neff; (iv) possíveis interlocuções entre autoeficácia, mindfulness e autocompaixão em Psicologia Positivana educação superior; e (v) considerações finais. Nos estudos encontrados para inclusão nesta revisão narrativa, foram relatados que autoeficácia, mindfulness e autocompaixão, sob o olhar da Psicologia Positiva, são fatores protetivos diante do adoecimento psicológico e promotores de um melhor desempenho acadêmico em estudantes universitários. Com isso, entende-se que são construtos imprescindíveis para o gerenciamento e enfrentamento das dificuldades acadêmicas que favorecem o bom ajustamento psicológico em alunos no ensino superior
Resumo em inglês: The purpose of this study was to reflect on the possible interconnections amongself-efficacy, mindfulness, and self-compassion in positive psychology in higher education. In this paper, the discussion was as follows: (i) self-efficacy from Albert Bandura to positive psychology; (ii) mindfulness in positive psychology: from tradition to the science of well-being; (iii) self-compassion in positive psychology: from Kristin Neff's perspective; (iv) possible interconnections amongself-efficacy, mindfulness, and self-compassion in positive psychology in higher education; and (v) final considerations. In the studies found for inclusion in this narrative review, it was reported that self-efficacy, mindfulness, and self-compassion, from a positive psychology perspective, are protective factors against psychological illness and promoters of better academic performance in college students. Thus, it is understood that these constructs are essential for the management and coping with academic difficulties that favor good psychological adjustment in students in higher education.

Resumo em português: Esta pesquisa investiga como a fundação do Ambulatório Rivadávia Corrêa, polo irradiador da educação higiênica nos subúrbios cariocas, foi noticiada por periódicos, jornais e revistas do período. A hipótese é que o ambulatório ratificou uma política de tratamento que extrapolava o saber psiquiátrico e fazia confluir discursos diversos, tais como republicanismo, trabalho, pobreza e raça. Na análise desse campo de diálogo espera-se compreender a participação do ideário psiquiátrico nas teorias eugênicas e inseri-lo em uma perspectiva mais ampla, adequada ao conjunto de instrumentos de regulação social que precisaram ser construídos (ou reconstruídos) após o fim da escravidão no Brasil. A pesquisa foi realizada sobre fontes primárias, que compõem o acervo da plataforma Hemeroteca Digital, da Biblioteca Nacional. Resumo em inglês: This research investigates how the foundation of Ambulatório Rivadávia Corrêa, a hub for hygienic education in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, was reported by journals, newspapers and magazines of the period. The hypothesis is that the clinic ratified a treatment policy that extrapolated psychiatric knowledge and brought together diverse discourses, such as republicanism, work, poverty and race. In the analysis of this field of dialogue, it is expected to understand the participation of psychiatric ideas in eugenic theories, and insert it in a broader perspective, adequate to the set of instruments of social regulation that had to be built (or rebuilt) after the end of slavery in Brazil. The research was carried out on primary sources, which make up the collection of the Hemeroteca Digital platform of the National Library. As a tool for analyzing this material, the concept of Social Marker was used, understood as the set of socially constructed differences that add up to the production of inequalities or hierarchies

Paralelamente, um movimento crescente de pesquisas sobre o bem-estar tem marcado presença no mundo acadêmico, tendo como referência a perspectiva teórica da Psicologia Positiva, que se dedica a estudar os fatores que colaboram para o funcionamento positivo do ser humano. Entre os diversos fatores considerados incluem-se a relação com a transcendência e a espiritualidade, que podem ou não estar associadas ao comportamento religioso. Resumo em inglês: In the past years, there has been a gradual increase in studies trying to comprehend the effects of religiosity and spirituality (R/S) on mental health. At the same time, a growing research movement on well-being has marked its presence in the academic world, with reference to the theoretical perspective of Positive Psychology, which focuses on the identification of factors that contribute to the positive functioning of human beings. Among these factors, one can mention topics such as transcendence and spirituality, which may or may not be associated with religious behavior. Given the relevance and breadth of the theme, this study aims to present a theoretical discussion about some results of research that address the impact of R/S on well-being and mental health. The conceptual framework of Positive Psychology is used to understand the elements that contribute to the promotion of well-being (AU)

Resumo em português: A formação do psicólogo, sua profissionalização e regulamentação da Psicologia são temáticas recorrentes de pesquisas e discussões, no Brasil. Nessa direção, objetivamos identificar e caracterizar condições do campo científico-profissional da Psicologia que estiveram envolvidas no processo da regulamentação da profissão entre as décadas de 1940 e 1950. Metodologicamente, esta é uma pesquisa na interlocução entre História Social da Psicologia e a História do Tempo Presente. As fontes primárias foram prioritariamente aqueles presentesno Dossiê Legislativo vinculado à proposição da Lei nº 4.119/62. Os resultados indicam a existência de condições típicas das comunidades científico-profissionais (e.g., sociedades, revistas, exercício profissional, etc.) antes da referida regulamentação. Tais condições respondiam ao projeto de “modernização” nacional a partir de aplicações e da formação de “especialistas” em Psicologia. Assim, o que nos parece é que, para que profissão e a formação fossem legisladas, parte das condições necessárias para sua existência já estavam presentes no país.
Resumo em inglês: The training of psychologists, their professionalization and regulation of Psychology are recurrent themes of research and debates in Brazil. Therefore, we aim to identify and characterize conditions in the scientific-professional field of Psychology involved in the process of regulation of the profession between the 1940s and 1950s. Methodologically, this research operates in between Social History of Psychology and History of the Present Time. The primary sources were first and foremost those present inthe Law No. 4,119/62’s legislative process. The results indicate the existence of typical conditions of scientific-professional communities (e.g., societies, journals, professional practice, etc.) before the aforementioned regulation. Such conditions werealigned to the national “modernization” project with its applicationsand the training of “specialists” in Psychology. Thus, one would see that, for the profession and training to be legislated, part of the necessary conditions for its existence were already present in the country.

Resumo em português: Medard Boss é considerado fundador da Daseinsanalyse. Conquanto a relevância de seu legado para a psicologia, sua obra é pouco conhecida na comunidade científica brasileira. Esta pesquisa, no intento de descobrir o que e como se tem referenciado o daseinsanalista, orienta-se por uma revisão integrativa da literatura de artigos científicos, indexados em portais abertos e gratuitos, que citem Medard Boss. Foram eleitas palavras-chave, então aplicadas em três bancos de dados (SciELO, PePSICe Lilacs). Após seleção por critérios de exclusão, chegou-se a um Nfinal de 37 publicações. Dos resultados, percebe-se que Boss é pouco referenciado pelos artigos brasileiros. Quando lembrado, a maior parte das menções é breve. Uma minoria de autores concentra a maior parte das publicações. Apenas dois livros de Boss estão traduzidos para o português. Vinte e sete porcento dos artigos que remetem ao daseinsanalista não usam nenhuma referência de sua obra.
Resumo em inglês: Medard Boss is the founder of Daseinsanalyse. Despite the relevance of his legacy to psychology, his theory is little known by the Brazilian scientific psychological community. This research, with the aim of understanding how and what aspects of the daseinsanalist is referenced, is oriented by an integrative review of the literature of scientific articles indexed on open and free portals that cite Medard Boss. Keywords were chosen, which were applied in three databases (SciELO, PePSICand Lilacs). After selection by exclusion criteria, it has provided a final N of 37 publications. In the results, it is concluded that Medard Boss is little referenced by Brazilian articles. When he is remembered, most of the mentions are brief.A minority of authors concentrate most publications. Only three of Boss’ books are translated to Portuguese, while 27% of the articles that refer to the daseinsanalist do not use any reference of his work.

Resumo em português: Objetivamos refletir como os censos do INEP podem possibilitar um critério para analisar a formação do psicólogo no Brasil. Estabelecemos uma estratégia metodológica baseada na pesquisa bibliográfica e análise documental. Contextualizamos o surgimento do INEP e a sua lógica de estabelecer o censo do ensino superior pelas figuras de Lourenço Filho e Anísio Teixeira, suas estadas na Universidade de Columbia e apropriações de ideias psicológicas, educacionais e administrativas. Adentramos tais censos, entre 1940-2010, para entender o expansionismo educacional e a formação do psicólogo. No censo de 2020,observamos: predominância de cursos privados sobre os públicos; expansão formativa em cursos interioranos; expressão da mercantilização da Psicologia; discrepância entre os cursos de Bacharelado e Licenciatura; equivalência e diminuição da oferta de cursos de Licenciatura no ensino público e privado. Concluímos que a análise empreendida ajuda a entender o campo da formação do psicólogo em suas nuances históricas, políticas, estatísticas, sociais e educacionais.
Resumo em inglês: We aim to reflect on how the INEP’s censuses mayprovide a criterion to analyze the professional education of psychologists in Brazil.We established a methodological strategy based on bibliographic-research and document analysis. We contextualized the INEP’s emergence and its logic of establishing higher education census through the figures of Lourenço Filho and Anísio Teixeira, their stays at Columbia University and appropriations of psychological, educational and administrative ideas. Weexamedsuch censuses, between1940-2010, to understand the educational expansionism and professional education of psychologists.In the 2020 census, we observe: predominance of private courses over public ones; educationalexpansion in inland courses; expression of a commodified Psychology; discrepancy between the Bachelor’s and the Teaching License Degree in the education of psychologists; equivalence and reduced offers of Psychology Degreecourses in public and private education. We conclude that the analysis undertakenhelps to understand the psychologist professional educationfield in its historical, political, statistical, social and educational nuances.

Resumo em português: As biografias têm ganhado espaço na História das Ciências, no geral e, em específico, na História da Psicologia. Elas têm permitido compreender a atuação de personagens relevantes na história da Psicologia, em diversos locais e, entre eles, no Brasil. Esteartigo se constitui como uma biografia de Reinier Johannes Antonius Rozestraten (1924-2008). A partir de fontes textuais (e.g., memoriais, relatórios, etc.) e orais (entrevista com ex-colegas e ex-alunos), apresentamos cidades pelas quais o biografado passou e parte de suas atividades vinculadas ao campo científico-profissional da Psicologia. As fontes foram analisadas a partir de seu conteúdo. Vemos um ator interessado em uma Psicologia científica, capaz de se envolver em questões aplicadas, do que a de uma personagem vinculada a uma teoria, em especial. Ademais, observamos uma atuação que concorreu à criação e desenvolvimento de Sociedades científico-profissionais. Assim, sua trajetória nos permite compreender os caminhos da Psicologia, no geral, e da Psicologia do Trânsito, em específico, no Brasil.
Resumo em inglês: Biographies have calling attention in the History of Sciences, in general and, in particular, in the History of Psychology. They have allowed us to understand the role of relevant characters in the history Psychology, in different places and, among them, in Brazil. This article is a biography of Reinier Johannes Antonius Rozestraten (1924-2008). From textual (e.g., memorial, research reports, etc.) and oral sources (interview with colleagues and former students), we present cities through which he passed and part of his activities linked to the scientific-professional field of Psychology. Primary sources were analyzed from its contents. We note Rozestraten more interested in scientific psychology, capable of getting involved in applied issues, than that of acharacter linked to a theory, in particular. In addition, we observed an activity that contributed to the creation and development of various scientific-professional societies. Thus, its trajectory allows us to understand the paths of Psychology, in general, and of Traffic Psychology, in specific, in Brazil.

Resumo em português: O objetivo deste memorandumé a proposição de uma definição conceitual para a psicologia capaz de integrar desdobramentos de objetos, diferenças entre métodos, e variedades de aplicações. O argumento baseia-se no fato óbvio de que existe apenas um psiquismo, mesmo que se reconheça diferentes modos de descrevê-lo, estudá-lo, preveni-lo e tratá-lo. Desde modo, a psicologia pode ser definida como um vasto campo de manifestações impressivas e expressivas as quais podem ser sintetizadas em articulações de suas propriedades afetivas, cognitivas e conativas, podendo tais manifestações serem observáveis (perspectiva de terceira pessoa) ou não (perspectiva de primeira pessoa). Os termos do enunciado serão definidos e discutidos após análise lógica e histórica de definições apresentadas por filósofos e psicólogos, do final do século XIX ao início do século XXI. A proposição assenta-se na esclarecedora diferenciação entre pluralidade de objetos (hierarquia ontológica ou desdobramentos de objetos) e pluralismo de concepções (diversidade epistemológica).
Resumo em inglês: The purpose of this memorandum is to propose a conceptual definition for psychology capable of integrating unfolding objects, methodological differences and application diversity. The argument is based on the obvious fact that there is only one psyche, even if one recognizes different ways of describing, studying, preventing and treating it. Thus, psychology can be defined as a vast field of impressive andexpressive manifestations which can be synthesized in articulations of their affective, cognitive and conative properties, and such manifestations can be observable (third-person perspective) or not (first-person perspective). The enunciation terms will be discussed after logical and historical analysis on definitions presented by philosophers and psychologists, from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 21th century. The proposition is based on the clarifying differentiation between plurality of objects (ontological hierarchy or unfolding of objects) and pluralism of conceptions (epistemological diversity).

Resumo em português: O presente artigo visa analisar criticamente ecos do encontro de Sigmund Freud com o antropólogo alemão Franz Boas na Clark University em 1909, cujos termos presentes em suas conferências são de relevância para o esclarecimento de trocas epistêmicas e metodológicas da psicanálise com as teorias sociais, em especial, a antropologia social. Busca-se demonstrar como o projeto de Totem e Taburessoa à convocatória de Boas realizada na conferência Problemas psicológicos na antropologia. Mas a desconsideração freudiana às críticas ao evolucionismo feitas pelo antropólogo, por sua vez, produziu importantes ruídos ao diálogo entre as disciplinas. Explicitamos como a obra de Boas, em sua leitura específica do totemismo e da noção de inconsciente, precursora da linguística estrutural, foi um elo essencial para a aproximação dos saberes psicanalíticos e antropológicos no escopo do plano lógico de formalização resgatado na interlocução entre Lévi-Strauss e Lacan a partir da década de 1950.
Resumo em inglês: This paperaims to critically analyze echoes of Sigmund Freud's encounter with the German anthropologist Franz Boas at Clark University in 1909, whose terms present in his lectures are of relevance for clarifying epistemic and methodological exchanges amongpsychoanalysis and social theories, in particular, social anthropology. It seeks to demonstrate how the Totem and Taboo project resonates with Boas' call made at the conference Psychological problems in Anthropology.But Freud's disregard for the anthropologist's criticisms of evolutionism, in turn, produced important noises in the dialogue amongdisciplines. We explore how Boas' work, in his specific reading of totemism and the notion of unconscious, precursor of structural linguistics, was an essential link for the approximation of psychoanalytic and anthropological knowledge within the scope of the logical plan of formalization rescued in the interlocution between Lévi-Strauss and Lacan from the 1950s.

Resumo em português: A Seção de Hipnose Forense do Instituto de Criminalística teve como fundador o peritocriminal Rui Fernando Cruz Sampaio. Oficializada em 1998, contribuiu para a solução de mais de 800 casos. A hipnose é uma técnica utilizada por profissionais da saúde, na qual o sujeito é induzido a um estado de alteração de consciência; está regulamentada por meio de resoluções de diferentes conselhos profissionais. A aplicação é comum no campo de saúde, mas há também derivações na esfera criminal. A hipnose forense foi utilizada como recurso auxiliar em fase de inquirição pré-processual. Buscamos, mediante análise documental junto à instituição, o resultado do trabalho realizado pela Seção de Hipnose, apresentando alguns casos, o fluxo contido nos pedidos de aplicação da técnica e a estruturação do trabalho técnico final.
Resumo em inglês: The Forensic Hypnosis Section of the Criminalistics Institute was founded by criminal expert Rui Fernando Cruz Sampaio. Established in 1998, it contributed to the solution of more than 800 cases. Hypnosis is a technique used by health professionals, in which the subject is induced into a state of altered consciousness. It is regulated by resolutions of different professional councils. The application of this technique is common in the health field, but there arealso derivations in the criminal sphere. Forensic hypnosis was used as an auxiliary resource in the pre-procedural inquiry phase. Through documental analysis atthe institution, we searched for the result of the work carried out by the Hypnosis Section, presenting some cases, the flow contained in the requests for application of the technique and the structuring of the final technical work.
