Resumo em português: Este artigo propõe como recorte metapsicológico as metáforas arqueológicas sobre o aspecto atemporal do inconsciente. O problema sobre a irrepresentabilidade do elemento que sobrevive ao lado, que Freud analisou em O mal-estar na cultura e na Carta 52, de Freud a Fließ, e deu prosseguimento em A análise finita e infinita. O inconsciente é em absoluto atemporal, mas o que exatamente isso significa? Não existem os tempos no inconsciente, ou, até que ponto coexistem todos os instantes de tempo? Não por acaso, Freud insistiu em afirmar em muitos escritos, que algo se conserva – uma sobrevivência, mesmo que um trapo, uma cicatriz, um lampejo, um pedaço, um resto, uma ruína. Mas estará todo material sujeito a transformações e reescritas em épocas posteriores? Na experiência de uma análise, os crocodilos são os companheiros de viagem. Resumo em inglês: This paper proposes, as mearchaeological approach, archeological metaphors about the timeless aspect of the unconscious. The problem that Freud analyzed in “Civilization and Its Discontents” and in “Letter 52 from Freud to Fließ” about the unrepresentability of the element that survived alongside, Freud demonstrated elucidation in “The Finite and Infinite Analysis”. The unconscious is absolutely timeless, but what exactly does that mean? Do times not exist in the unconscious, or to what extent do all instants of time coexist? Not by chance, Freud insisted on stating, in many writings, that something is preserved – a survival, even if it is a rag, a scar, a flash, a piece, a remainder, a ruin. But, will all material be subject to transformations and rewritings in later times? In the experience of an analysis, the crocodiles are our traveling companions. A transformation is always incomplete, parts of an earlier organization continue to exist alongside the more recent one, and old mechanisms may remain untouched by analysis. Resumo em português: O presente trabalho apresenta parte dos estudos desenvolvidos no módulo O desenho infantil na clínica psicanalítica com crianças e adolescentes, promovido pelo Núcleo de Estudos da Infância e Adolescência (NEPIA) do Círculo Psicanalítico do Rio Grande do Sul (CPRS). Um dos recursos utilizados pelos profissionais que trabalham na área o desenho atende à demanda anunciada pelos que buscam compreender e amenizar o sofrimento de pacientes que estão vivenciando a infância e a adolescência. O estudo tem como propósito refletir sobre o desenho como possibilidade de entrar em contato com o mundo interno desses pacientes e perceber os movimentos pulsionais, libidinais e agressivos que estabelecem um vínculo e um diálogo com os seus conteúdos conscientes e inconscientes. As reflexões propostas se fundamentam em Donald Winnicott e Antonino Ferro, complementados com atividades de pesquisadores nesta área de conhecimento(AU)
Resumo em inglês: This paper presents part of the studies developed in the module “Children’s drawings in the psychoanalytic clinic with children and adolescents”, promoted by the CPRS Childhood and Adolescence Studies Center. Drawing is one of the resources used by professionals working in the field that meets the demand announced by those seeking to understand and alleviate the suffering of patients who are experiencing childhood and adolescence. The purpose of this study is to reflect on drawings as a way of getting in touch with the internal world of these patients and perceiving the impulsive, libidinal and aggressive movements that establish a link and a dialog with their conscious and unconscious contents. The proposed reflections are based on Donald Winnicott, Françoise Dolto and Antonino Ferro, complemented by the activities of researchers in this area of knowledge(AU)

Resumo em português: Este ensaio estabelece pontos de contato entre uma abordagem metateórica denominada Teoria dos Sistemas de Justificação (JUST; Henriques, 2022) e algumas premissas psicanalíticas. A Teoria dos Sistemas de Justificação oferece um arcabouço explicativo visando esclarecer a singularidade da consciência e da comunicação humana. Essa abordagem mantém uma perspectiva evolutiva, preservando a continuidade com a experiência primata e enquadrando a cultura humana como sistemas de justificação. Destaca-se a convergência com pressupostos freudianos, notavelmente evidenciados pelo modelo tripartido atualizado, composto por eu experiencial, eu privado (ego) e eu público (persona), paralelos com a estrutura tripartida do isso, eu e supereu na teoria freudiana. A consciência humana é interpretada como um aparato mental evolutivamente novo, cumprindo uma função adaptativa de narrar justificações que legitimam e coordenam ações no plano cultural(AU)
Resumo em inglês: This essay establishes conceptual connections between a metatheoretical approach, namely, Justification Systems Theory (JUST; Henriques, 2022) and some psychoanalytic premises. Justification Systems Theory provides an explanatory framework aiming to clarify the uniqueness of human consciousness and communication. This approach maintains an evolutionary perspective, preserving continuity with the primate experience and framing human culture as systems of justification. The convergence with Freudian assumptions is highlighted, notably evidenced by the updated tripartite model, composed of experiential self, private self (ego), and public self (persona), paralleling the tripartite structure of id, ego, and superego in Freudian theory. Human consciousness is interpreted as an evolutionarily novel mental apparatus, serving an adaptive function by narrating justifications that legitimize and coordinate actions in the culture plane(AU)

Para isso, analisou-se fragmentos do livro e cenas do filme homônimos Precisamos falar sobre o Kevin, com foco na relação de Kevin e seu ambiente, para sustentar a proposição de que a liquidez e a fragilidade dos laços sociais humanos são um fenômeno macrossocial, composto por vários fenômenos microssociais, que apontam para “falhas ambientais” em diversas esferas, mas que, de forma microssocial, têm sua origem na qualidade da relação entre o ambiente-cuidador e o bebê, em um período primitivo específico do desenvolvimento emocional – estágio de concern –, que compromete a aquisição da capacidade de se preocupar com o outro(AU)
Resumo em inglês: The article discusses the phenomenon of liquid modernity from the perspective of Winnicott’s theory of human maturation. For this, literary fragments and scenes from the homonymous film were analyzed: “We need to talk about Kevin”, focusing on Kevin’s relationship and his environment, to support the proposition that liquidity and the fragility of human social ties are a macrosocial phenomenon, composed of several microsocial phenomena that point to “environmental failures” in different spheres; but which, in a microsocial way, have their origins in the quality of the relationship between the caregiver-environment and the baby, in a specific primitive period of emotional development – stage of concern –, which compromises the acquisition of the ability to worry about the other(AU)

Resumo em inglês: The author presents an overview of human cultural evolution, starting from the beginnings of humanity, until the appearance of psychoanalysis, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It introduces the figure of Sigmund Freud, the creator of Psychoanalysis, and the trajectory of this new knowledge, which brings to light the instance of the unconscious. She also talks about the main Freudian works, reaching Jacques Lacan, in the 20th century, who rereads Freud. It also discusses the concept of Ethics, emphasizing that Psychoanalysis has its own ethics, which is the ethics of the subject of the unconscious, the ethics of saying this subject’s truth. Finally, she highlights the role of the analyst in society and the various openings that Psychoanalysis has brought to human beings(AU)

Resumo em português: Trata-se de uma revisão sistemática sobre o tema corpo, cuja base de dados foi a revista Estudos de Psicanálise. Método: Os critérios de inclusão dos artigos foram a palavra-chave “corpo” e a limitação temporal dos últimos 10 anos. Durante os 54 anos em que a revista foi editada, apenas 15 trabalhos foram publicados com essa temática e 8 foram publicados de 2012 a 2022. Objetivo: Descobrir se houve mudanças na forma de pensar ou sentir o corpo, do ponto de visto psicanalítico, nestes últimos dez anos. Resultados: Cada texto ofereceu uma perspectiva única sobre a relação entre corpo e a lente poderosa da psicanálise para compreender o sofrimento psíquico expresso através do corpo. Conclusão: Com as novas formas de subjetivação na contemporaneidade, os sofrimentos não mais seguem a lógica do conflito psíquico, do recalque e da representação, pois são sofrimentos que se caracterizam pela impossibilidade de representação e nomeação. Entretanto, a psicanálise mantém a sua relevância, viva e atual, na análise das respostas humanas aos desafios sociais(AU)
Resumo em inglês: This is a systematic review on the topic of the body, with the database being the journal “Estudos de Psicanálise”. Method: The inclusion criteria for the articles were the keyword “body” and a time limitation of the last 10 years. Over the 54 years during which the journal was published, only 15 papers were published on this theme, with eight of them being published from 2012 to 2022. Objective: To discover whether there have been changes in the way the body is thought about or felt, from a psychoanalytic point of view, in the last ten years. Results: Each text offered a unique perspective on the relationship between the body and the powerful lens of psychoanalysis for understanding psychic suffering expressed through the body. Conclusion: With new forms of subjectivity in contemporary times, suffering no longer follows the logic of psychic conflict, repression, and representation, as it is characterized by the impossibility of representation and naming. However, psychoanalysis remains relevant, alive, and current in analyzing human responses to social challenges(AU)

Resumo em inglês: This work addresses the place of supervision of psychoanalytic care for children and adolescents in the training of the analyst, creating a link between the constitution of the analyst and the constitution of the subject. It also presents questions about the specificity of supervising psychoanalytic care with children and adolescents and its effects on the analyst in training, who is finding his style. For this reflection, we draw on my experience as supervisor of the clinic at the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies of Childhood and Adolescence - NEPsI, which belongs to the Social Clinic of the Brazilian Psychoanalysis Circle - Rio de Janeiro - Section CBP-RJ(AU)

Resumo em inglês: This essay intends to present the implementation, in 2021, of the Center for the Psychoanalysis Study of Childhood and Adolescence (NEPIA) at the Círculo Psicanalítico do Rio Grande do Sul (CPRS), which had as one of its first initiatives the programming of a complementary psychoanalytic training course on clinical practice with children and adolescents. The course is aimed at candidates in training who are working in the clinic. Besides discussing the implementation of NEPIA, we will address some clinical fragments that may help to think about the demands and challenges in relation to clinical activity, since these age groups involve work with families and, sometimes, with schools. Resumo em inglês: The paper presents some clinical fragments of a patient with marked traces of melancholia, nuances of unconscious guilt and impossibilities of symbolization. We bring up André Green’s postulations about the deobjectifying function and negative narcissism. The object that cannot be erased occupies the psychic space that should be left empty so that the baby’s desire and ego can be structured. This occurs when the work of the negative has failed in its function of negating the primary object. Considering that the melancholic subject experiences the loss of the object as a loss of himself, we will also think about the be arability of the state of helplessness present in primary erogenous masochism, which leads us to Rosenberg’s scores about deadly masochism and life-preserving masochism(AU)

Resumo em inglês: In general, the transit of mourning in childhood has very complicated edges, as in any mourning, but it is made even more complex by the hiding of death by the surroundings of the child. By means of this hiding, though intending to spare the child from the suffering of losing a dear relative or a beloved pet, the child’s surroundings end up intensifying the pains of such loss and keeping the child or the adolescent from walking the necessary path of mourning. This has consequences, for, by impeding the child or adolescent from working through the mourning process, the adult makes it difficult for them, at the same time, the subjective processing of any loss: extreme acting-out episodes, neurotic and psychotic passages to action and, at times, more severe pathologies, will result from this refusal of the knowledge about death(AU)

Resumo em português: Partindo da sua experiência clínica, que se foi cruzando ao longo do tempo com a literatura e pensamentos seus nas temáticas associadas, a oradora pretende partilhar e discutir alguns pontos de vista nascidos e criados no campo terapêutico, particularmente no que se refere à repetição de alguns padrões em pacientes ligados às artes e à cultura. Estes padrões repetitivos relacionam-se com a elevada frequência com que estes pacientes não reconhecem os seus progenitores como figuras de autoridade moral e ética, assim como com a tendência para não recorrerem ao mecanismo de defesa recalcamento para lidar com os seus conflitos internos e ainda com a recorrência de fenómenos vivenciados como traumáticos ao longo do desenvolvimento. O fenómeno traumático associa-se assim empírica e inevitavelmente à abordagem deste tema, pelo que é incontornável a reflexão sobre a sua relação com o processo criativo, enquanto escapatória e transformação do terror internalizado, assim como as interligações com o recurso aos mecanismos de defesa. Revisitando Freud, Kohut e Blatt, a autora procura compreender esse processo de transformação interna através do modelo tectónico da mente e da analogia entre o Self e a Terra. Novos olhares sobre o tema, propõem ainda considerar três tipos de sublimação – introjectiva, anaclítica e mista – bem como uma predisposição genética para a expressão artística, vista como uma das etapas finais da cadeia simbólica(AU)
Resumo em inglês: Building on clinical experience crossed with literature and thoughts on the associated theme, the speaker wishes to share and discuss some viewpoints raised and created on the therapeutic field, namely on the repetition of some patterns on patients connected to art and culture. These repetitive patterns are related to the high frequency with which these patients do not recognize their parents as figures of moral and ethical authority, to a tendency not to use the defense mechanism of repression to deal with their internal conflicts, and to the recurrence of phenomena experienced as traumatic throughout their development. The traumatic phenomena is thus inevitably and empirically associated to the approach to this theme, and consequently the reflection on its relation with the creative process as an escape and transformation of the internalized terror, and on the interconnections with the resource to the defense mechanisms is unavoidable. By revisiting Freud, Kohut and Blatt the author seeks to understand this process of internal transformation by using the tectonic model of the mind and the analogy between Self and Earth. New perspectives on this theme put forward the contemplation of three types of sublimation – introjective, anaclitic and mixed – and the genetic predisposition to artistic expression, considered as one of the final stages of the symbolic chain(AU)

Resumo em português: Vitória é uma jovem senhora de 46 anos e casada há mais de 20 anos. Ela nasceu numa região muito pobre do Nordeste brasileiro. Procurou terapia através do atendimento social do CBP-RJ. Seus medos: era-lhe insuportável viajar de carro com seu marido e lhe parecia impossível viajar de avião. Seu maior problema no início da análise: sua família havia comprado uma passagem aérea para ela ir até sua região de origem. Família de origem era muito pobre, pai alcoólico e violento, mãe muito severa com os filhos. Sua casa foi construída com barro e madeira. Quando tinha 8 anos de idade, foi enviada a outra família para trabalho doméstico em troca de comida e vestimentas. Vitória conheceu o marido no Nordeste e depois de um mês de namoro, ele migrou para o Rio de Janeiro visando uma vida melhor. Três meses depois, ele enviou a Vitória uma passagem de ônibus para que viesse morar com ele no Rio de Janeiro – uma viagem de três dias. Junto às questões edípicas, havia um medo dominante e paralisante de retorno ao estado de pobreza e abandono que vivera durante a infância. Isso se manifestava numa obsessão com a segurança das filhas. Retornar ao lugar de origem lhe trouxe memórias de sofrimento, resultando em seguida uma histeria conversiva e somatizações. Hoje seus traumas retornam na forma de uma ansiedade extrema, fobias e conversões. Não se trata de um caso fóbico simplesmente, mas de como a pobreza extrema e o processo migratório podem resultar num tipo de “psicopatologia da imigração”. Nossa clínica teve o auxílio das ideias de Ferenczi e reflexões sobre o acompanhamento psicanalítico de imigrantes(AU)
Resumo em inglês: Vitoria is a 46 years old woman and is married about 20 years. She was born in one of the poorest regions of Brazil. She looked for therapy in the Social Clinic of the CBP-RJ. Her fears: it was unbearable to be in the husband’s car and it seemed to be impossible to fly by airplane. Her biggest problem: her Family bought an airplane’s ticket to go to Brazil’s Northwest. They were/are very poor, her father was alcoholic and violent. His mother was very severe. Her house was built with clay and wood. When she was 8 years old she was sent to another Family to work for food and clothing. She met her husband in Brazil’s Northwest, and after a one-month relationship, the husband immigrated to Rio de Janeiro looking for a better life. Three months after he sent her a bus ticket to come to Rio de Janeiro, a three day trip on the road. Despite several oedipal situations, there is fear to return to poverty and abandonment with an obsession with the security of her daughters. To fly back to birth’s place brings to her memories that hurt, with a lot of somatizations. Now these traumas return as extreme anxiety, fear and somatizations. It is just not a classical Phobia’s case, but how poverty and immigration could result in a kind of “psychopathology of immigration. Resumo em inglês: Our essay aims to examine the possible changes in the process of identification in children and adolescents considering multiple family relationships, the greater use of virtual connections, and the global pandemic in the last two years. To this end, we will comment on some clinical situations and some fragments of the postdoctoral research in progress, regarding the process of subjectivation in the 21st century. Data from research carried out with professionals in the areas of health and education who participated in the Psychoanalysis Study Cycles, promoted by the Psychoanalytic Studies of Rio Grande do Sul Meetings (freely translated from Ciclo de Estudos Psicanalíticos do Rio Grande do Sul - CPRS), from 2019 to 2021, will be discussed. Freud, Lacan, Alvarez, Dolto, Sigal, and Rassial are some of the authors revisited in this work, giving us greater support and basis for the ideas analyzed(AU)

Este artigo reflexivo contém uma mirada a partir de Freud, Lacan, Winnicott e Ferenczi, envolvendo a construção de modos para que a psicanálise, através do compreender, possa permanecer no processo em curso que solicita o criar e o experimentar. Freud, em Uma dificuldade no caminho da psicanálise (1917), já havia indicado que as dificuldades abrem possibilidades para nascer outra realidade. Resumo em inglês: Online supervision is not only a process, the psychoanalytical setting, the transference and the tripod of the psychoanalytic education, but also an instance of human interaction in the dialogicity which allows for the power of being and experience exchange. Online supervision is necessary, contingent and organically tied to the content in the pursuit of knowledge. It promotes, therefore, an interactive and stable connection. This reflective work showcases a gaze on the topic from the perspective of Freud, Lacan, Winnicott and Ferenczi, covering the construction of ways for the psychoanalysis through the understanding, to continue in its ongoing process that requires the creation and the experimentation. Freud, in One of the Difficulties of Psycho-Analysis (1917), states that the difficulties open up possibilities for new realities. These transformations happen to equate the states of the real world(AU)

Resumo em português: O presente artigo surge com a intenção de relembrar um momento doloroso da história do País, em que o uso da violência, nas suas diversas formas, funcionava como um dos principais meios de lidar com a diferença ou os diferentes. Rememorar essa história é uma forma de resistir àquilo que insistentemente retorna em outros períodos, caso não se tenha a oportunidade de elaborar seu conteúdo. Através da pesquisa em psicanálise, que abrange a exploração histórica, pretende-se problematizar o conceito psicanalítico de neutralidade e as repercussões no uso que alguns psicanalistas e instituições psicanalíticas fizeram dessa nomenclatura para perpetuar e legitimar o sofrimento psíquico no período do regime ditatorial no Brasil e nos anos que se seguiram. A posição por eles assumida esteve vinculada à tentativa de mascarar a verdadeira face da violência psíquica ocorrida nos porões da ditadura e se amparava em uma visão deturpada do conceito de neutralidade(AU)
Resumo em inglês: This article appears with the intention of remembering a painful moment in the country's history in which the use of violence, in its various forms, functioned as one of the main means of dealing with difference and/or those who are different. Remembering this history is a way of resisting what insistently returns in other periods, if one does not have the opportunity to elaborate its content. Through research in psychoanalysis, which encompasses historical exploration, it is intended to problematize the psychoanalytic concept of neutrality and the repercussions on the use that some psychoanalysts and psychoanalytic institutions made of this nomenclature to perpetuate and legitimize psychic suffering in the period of the dictatorial regime in Brazil and in the years that followed. The positions taken by them were linked to attempts to mask the true face of the psychic violence that took place in the basements of the dictatorship and that was supported by a distorted vision of the concept of neutrality(AU)

This research reflects that psychoanalytic interpretation is a resource that makes it possible to bring out the Unconscious. Resumo em português: Neste artigo, tratamos de evidenciar o que a psicanálise pode aprender com a canção – ou, mais especificamente, o que o psicanalista pode aprender com João Gilberto sobre interpretação. Essa discussão tem como pano de fundo uma aproximação entre o gaio saber dos trovadores medievais, tal como Lacan o toma ao tratar da interpretação analítica em um trecho de Televisão, por um lado, e a “gaia ciência brasileira” a que se refere José Miguel Wisnik em um de seus estudos sobre música popular e literatura no Brasil, por outro. O argumento avança no sentido de reconhecer, em diversos aspectos da obra e da performance de João Gilberto, pontos de referência para uma apreensão do que está em jogo na interpretação analítica, em três frentes principais: o trato com o real da linguagem; a experiência do final de análise; e a constituição de um estilo na práxis do psicanalista(AU)
Resumo em inglês: In this article, we highlight what psychoanalysis can learn from song – or, to be more specific, what the psychoanalyst can learn from João Gilberto about interpretation. The background of this discussion is an approximation between the gai savoir of medieval troubadours, as addressed by Lacan (1974/2003) in a sketch of Television on the issue of psychoanalytic interpretation, on one side, and the Brazilian joyous science referred to by José Miguel Wisnik (2004) in one of his studies on popular music and literature in Brazil, on the other. The discussion proceeds towards recognizing, in many aspects of João Gilberto’s oeuvre and performance, reference points to an apprehension of what is at stake in psychoanalytic interpretation, in three main fronts: the work with the real of language; the experience of the end of analysis; the constitution of a style in the praxis of the psychoanalyst(AU)

Resumo em português: Trabalhamos o debate sobre a pluralidade de sentidos de uma obra de arte, tomando como enfoque o registro fotográfico. Partimos da descrição dos achados de uma pesquisa de orientação psicanalítica voltada à investigação de fenômenos sociais e conduzida através da metodologia das narrativas memorialísticas. Dividida em três tempos, narrar, criar e partilhar, essa metodologia tem como cerne interventivo a tradução de histórias de vida em obras de arte. O debate sobre os hiatos constitutivos da imagem é feito a partir de autores do campo psicanalítico como Sigmund Freud e Tânia Rivera, e do campo das artes, como Jacques Rancière e Roland Barthes. Trabalhando sobre a ideia da incidência da fotografia no tempo e no sujeito, pensamos as dimensões subjetiva, estética e política dessa pesquisa, e as possibilidades de criação e recepção de uma obra de arte(AU)
Resumo em inglês: We debate the plurality of meanings of a work of art, focusing on the particularities of photography. We depart from the description of the findings derived from psychoanalytic research of social phenomena guided by the methodology of the Narrative Memoir. This methodology is divided into three moments: to narrate; to create; and to share, and involves the translation of life stories into works of art. The debate concerning the constitutive gaps of an image is conducted through psychoanalytic authors such as Sigmund Freud and Tania Rivera, assisted by authors in the field of aesthetics, such as Jacques Rancière and Roland Barthes. As we investigate the effects of photography on time an on the subject, we reflect on the subjective, aesthetic and political dimensions of this research, as well as on the processes of creation and reception of a work of art(AU)
